We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the CFO and Director of Finance. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their exposure to real estate development, with a focus on pro forma modeling, cash flow forecasting, market research, and construction finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models and pro formas for development projects
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and tracking of equity and debt sources across the project lifecycle
- Prepare and coordinate monthly construction loan draw packages, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with lender requirements
- Conduct industry research and market analysis to support acquisition, underwriting, and strategic decisions
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including lenders, partners, and investors
- Provide ad hoc analytical support
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- CPA designation (or in progress) or equivalent financial background preferred
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in real estate, corporate finance, or audit
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills are essential; familiarity with Yardi, Argus, or other real estate platforms is an asset
- Proven analytical and problem-solving ability, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to grow within a real estate development setting
