FINANCIAL ANALYST :
This is your opportunity to join a fast-paced organization with a large, stable, and continuously growing presence in the vertical market software industry! Harris is currently looking to hire a Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate is working towards their professional accounting designation, has progressive accounting experience, a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement. As a Financial Analyst, you will be part of Harris’s finance team and will provide financial support and analysis that directly impact the success of a Business Unit. Reporting to the Controller, you will perform month, quarter, and year-end closing tasks, along with various ad hoc projects. You will interact regularly with fellow Analysts, other finance team members, and senior leadership within the business units.

What Will Be Your New Role
  1. Perform technical accounting analyses under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), including:
  2. Completing the month-end and quarter-end close processes, analyzing results, preparing journal entries, and detailed balance sheet reconciliations, along with reporting for senior leadership.
  3. Tracking and analyzing deferred revenue streams.
  4. Calculating commissions based on invoicing and bookings.
  5. Building relationships and providing excellent customer service to the business units.
  6. Assisting with maintaining accurate forecasts for the business units.
  7. Preparing audit requests and responding to queries during quarterly reviews and audits.
  8. Leading or assisting with special ad hoc projects impacting stakeholders.
  9. Supporting due diligence and integration of new acquisitions into the finance group.

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and/or accounting.
  • CPA member or student (or equivalent professional accounting body).
  • Effective communicator comfortable working with all management levels.
  • Solutions-focused mindset and desire to improve processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
