Reporting to the Controller, Financial Services, the Financial Analyst provides financial and analytical support to the Controller, Finance Business Partners (FBPs), and Director of Finance and Administration. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial information through analysis, reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and investment accounting. The Financial Analyst supports the budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes for the Royal College, RCI (Royal College International), The Foundation (RCF) and the Employees' Retirement (Pension) Plan (ERP) contributing to effective financial management and decision-making.
As a Financial Analyst supporting the Finance team, you'll play a key role in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting process by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses across multiple entities. Working closely with the Controller, you'll be responsible for investment accounting, compliance and reporting, prepare financial reports for leadership, and support budgeting, forecasting, and annual external audits. You'll also contribute to continuous improvements that strengthen financial reporting and processes.
