Job summary

Poka is seeking a finance-focused professional to build, analyze and maintain information for management decision-making. You will report to the Deal Desk and FP&A Manager and participate in stages of the quote-to-cash process.

Key qualifications include 1–3 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and interest in budgeting/forecasting and financial metrics. English fluency essential; bachelor's degree preferred. Hybrid Canada-based role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

• Prepare financial data presentations to explain the company's financial results to internal stakeholders.
• Create and maintain reliable and accurate dashboards and KPI reports.
• Support sales team in price proposal, sales strategy and sales contract drafting.
• Monitor variable compensation plans.

You will be responsible for building, analyzing and maintaining relevant information for management to make financial, operational and strategic decisions. You will also be involved in several stages of the quote-to-cash process. You will report directly to the Deal Desk and FP&A Manager.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Actively participate in the preparation and maintenance of financial data that will support decision-making in relation to the company's business and investment strategies.
• Provide timely financial information to FP&A manager and management.
• Prepare financial data presentations to explain the company's financial results to internal stakeholders.
• Create and maintain reliable and accurate dashboards and KPI reports.
• Support sales team in price proposal, sales strategy and sales contract drafting.
• Monitor variable compensation plans.

What you bring to the table:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of Excel is essential, you are a reference for your colleagues
• Interest in short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting, budgets and financial metrics
• Ability to manage and succeed in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
• Fluency in English is essential
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or other relevant discipline is an asset
• Experience with a business intelligence visualization system is an asset
