About The Role
The Financial Analyst provides management reporting, financial analysis, and decision support. This position works to improve understanding of key business drivers and maximize results within the country/segments/markets.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Safety - Communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments
- Consolidation - Month end Activities and Reporting: Performing month end activities such as journal entries.
- Support Finance Managers in coordinating and consolidating month end reporting requirements.
- Reporting includes financials, key performance indicators, and commentary explaining business performance.
- Account Reconciliations & Variance Analysis: Analyzing and reconciling accounts and cost centers, performing variance analysis, and developing commentary for major variances.
- Financial Campaigns: Assisting with planning and execution of various financial campaigns, including forecasting, budgeting, cost action planning, audits, and ad hoc campaigns.
- Holding planning meetings with stakeholders to establish deliverables and processes.
- Developing templates and processes for validation and consolidation at segment and country levels, ensuring alignment with Group and Regional targets.
- Reporting Analytics and Compliance: Collaborating with reporting system owners to ensure proper account mapping, HARP compliance, and reporting views using SAP ECC, SAP FC, Tagetik, QlikView, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Process Improvement: Continuously reviewing and improving processes, including developing reports to automate delivery.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Assisting in ensuring compliance with standards such as US GAAP.
- Demonstrating commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting a culture of safety.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Undergraduate Degree
- Work Experience: 3-5 years professional experience
- Training/Certifications: Enrollment in a Professional accounting program (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA) preferred
- Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills, systems knowledge including SAP FC, SAP ECC, BPC, SAC, Tagetik, and experience with Google Suite
- Travel Requirements: 10-20%
