We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst & System Support based in Laval, Quebec. The organization offers a hybrid work environment: 2 days remote with a fixed schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Senior Manager, Finance, on financial reporting areas including:

- Inventory management (obsolescence, revaluation, costing queries, external auditor support)

- Revenue provisions analysis and support

- Preparation of monthly journal entries

- Balance sheet account reconciliations

- Support for SOX controls compliance

- Support for financial systems, tools, and processes, including:

  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Intercompany transaction support

- Assist in process improvements and efficiencies, providing recommendations to finance leadership

- Support ad-hoc requests and projects for Finance and FP&A

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial analysis
  • CPA designation (or in progress) is required
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Interest in financial systems and automation opportunities
  • Professional, self-motivated, autonomous, energetic, inquisitive, eager to learn and add value
  • Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP ERP system is an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a positive attitude
