What You'll Be Doing
  • Monitors and analyzes accounting allocation and spending data to determine financial resources required to develop budgets.
  • Tracks expenses, inventories, and budget balances. Measures actual performance against budget.
  • Prepares forecasting reports and trend analysis. Develops recommendations for budget allocations that conform with budgetary policies and limits.
  • Utilizes financial modeling and data analytics tools.
  • Knowledge in KPI dashboard.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis of hospital operations, including revenue and expense trends, budget vs. actual variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Utilize advanced statistical and financial modeling techniques to identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the hospital's annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Support ongoing forecasting efforts to provide timely updates on financial performance.
  • Manage financial data collection, validation, and consolidation from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Create and maintain databases and data visualization tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and scenario modeling to support strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Revenue Cycle, Operations, and IT, to gather data and insights that contribute to financial analyses and reporting.
What We're Looking For

Per Diem, Day Shift

The successful financial analyst will have at a minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
  • Ability to get things done and work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
