Title: Financial Analyst
Reporting to: Senior Manager, Finance
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
This role will begin in-person as part of a co-working space located in downtown Edmonton. We are actively exploring dedicated office space for a future date in the same area.

Inspirato is seeking a dynamic, highly analytical, and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and brings strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to the table. The FP&A team plays a key role in shaping strategic decisions by delivering timely, accurate, and actionable insights across the organization. As a core contributor, you’ll collaborate with teams across the business to analyze performance, develop financial models, and support high-impact initiatives that drive growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain short- and long-term financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
2. Business Performance Analysis: Analyze financial results, key metrics, and drivers to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
3. Financial Reporting: Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis (actuals vs. budget and forecast); assist in preparing executive and board-level reporting packages.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with department leaders to develop and review budgets, monitor spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide strategic financial support.
5. Ad Hoc Projects: Conduct financial analysis for strategic initiatives such as pricing, new product development, and partnerships.

Requirements include:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (experience in hospitality or public company FP&A a plus).
2. 1–3 years of relevant financial analysis experience.
3. Strong Excel skills with experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
4. Solid understanding of financial statements and core business metrics.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
7. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Compensation: $60,000-$70,000 CAD Base Salary
We believe in building a compensation structure that reflects the comparable market pay rate for positions at companies similar in size, revenue generation and geographic location; in addition to individual factors including seniority, performance-based merit, education/training, and experience related to scope of responsibilities.

Paid Time Off: Accrues each pay period, totaling 15 days annually, plus nine paid holidays.
FAM Trip: After one year of employment, eligible for one three-to-four-night stay per calendar year in an Inspirato property, subject to availability and program terms.
