We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing high-level financial analysis, creating detailed financial models, and producing comprehensive financial reports. Your expertise will also extend to client relationship management, annual budgeting, board material preparation, capital raising, and mergers and acquisitions. The candidate must have a strong foundation in both corporate finance and investment banking.

Job Duties

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function across multiple clients, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis while identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement through data analysis.
  • Build and maintain financial models that capture both historical performance and future projections, incorporating statistical techniques as needed to provide accurate forecasts for clients.
  • Develop and implement models to assist clients in managing cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, including creating 13-week cash flow forecasts and contingency plans to address liquidity risks.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and management presentations for senior leadership, boards, and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity in complex financial data.
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process, collaborating with operational teams to ensure that the annual operating plan aligns with organizational goals.
  • Provide financial insights and support senior executives during capital raising activities, as well as mergers and acquisitions, throughout the transaction process.
  • Work closely with internal client teams, including CFOs, financial analysts, and controllers, to provide data-driven financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in financial modeling and forecasting and identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the accuracy of data.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and offer actionable insights that align with both operational and strategic business initiatives.
  • Create management reports, investor pitch decks, and financial statements to communicate key financial findings and business outcomes.
  • Conduct benchmarking, competitive analysis, and valuations for potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions to guide business decisions.
  • Partner with the Investor Relations team to support fundraising activities, investor screening, and financial forecasting, ensuring transparent communication with investors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication of financial results and projections.


Education/Credentials

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (additional certifications in related field will be considered a bonus).
  • CFA professional designation with expertise in financial analysis, investment valuation, and financial modeling.


Required Experience/Skills

  • Proven ability to analyze large datasets, synthesize insights, and provide strategic recommendations that align with organizational goals.
  • Expertise in developing and executing strategies to optimize performance and business outcomes across both public and private sectors.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, scenario planning, valuations, and forecasting, with proficiency in financial data platforms such as S&P Capital IQ, PitchBook, and MergerMarket, and a strong aptitude for financial systems.
  • Transaction experience, including capital raises, and M&A transactions.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing financial strategies that align with overall business objectives across diverse sectors, including corporate finance and investment analysis.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in evaluating business models, financial structures, and investment opportunities.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing financial teams capable of tackling challenges across multiple domains.
  • Experience implementing metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and effectiveness.
  • Capable of providing regular reports to senior leadership on financial performance, strategic initiatives, and business outcomes.
  • Continuously staying updated with industry trends, financial reforms, and emerging strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be fluent in English and at least one other language, with a preference for Hindi, German, or Sindhi.
