Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries.

This role is for an analytical and diligent professional who can manage everything from journal entries to month end close.

Responsible for producing high impact financial reports and supporting strategic initiatives that drive the business forward!

Responsibilities

Initially this is a blend of corporate finance and FP&A with the following experience required:

  • preparation of journal entries
  • reconciliation of accounts
  • maintenance of the General Ledger
  • assist with month end and year end close process
  • support inventory and calculations of standard costing
  • assist with audit, tax filings, and financial reporting

As the department evolves this will weigh more heavily on FP&A functions, supporting the FP&A Manager

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • CPA preferred or pursuing
  • 4-5 yrs in financial analysis, FP&A
  • preference will be given to those coming from the Manufacturing sector
  • inventory accounting and standard costing preferred
  • experience with financial modelling, advanced excel
  • strong analytical skills, problem solving and effective communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast paced, evolving environment
