Job summary

Servus Credit Union in Calgary’s Seton Branch is hiring for a full-time Financial Advisor/Senior Financial Advisor. The role focuses on developing long-term member relationships and delivering customized financial solutions, with late shifts and occasional Creekside branch coverage.

Strong sales, service skills and IFIC certification are valued. The position requires 2+ years in retail banking or related finance experience and a post-secondary finance education.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of retail banking or related financial industry experience, preferably in sales or customer service and a high school diploma.
• Post-secondary education in Finance or related studies is preferred.
• Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC) is an asset.

We are hiring for a full-time Financial Advisor/ Senior Financial Advisor in our Seton Branch in Calgary.

Posting Closes: October 16, 2026, end of day

Additional Information: 6 days; extended-hour branch
Successful candidate must have flexibility to work late shifts Thursday (until 7:00); Friday (until 6:00); and Saturday (until 3:00).
*Successful candidate may be required to work at the Creekside branch from time to time. Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your primary objective is to bring our noble purpose to life by developing long term relationships with members, building trust, and delivering customized financial solutions that shape their financial fitness.

What you’ll be doing:

• Identifying opportunities to match members with the right products and solutions that help shape their financial fitness
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets and referral goals
• Participating and assisting in business development plans through corporate/branch marketing campaigns
• Demonstrating excellent communication skills and engaging members in conversations to determine their immediate needs
• Developing ongoing knowledge of our current investment/retail banking services and products (e.g., mutual funds, underwriting, credits, loans, investment needs, etc.)
• Promoting referrals to our Wealth Management, Business Banking teams, and our 3rd party providers
• Building a comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends
• Adhering to all audits, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks of fraud or loss
• Providing outstanding member experience by adhering to Servus' best practices
• Contributing to Servus' unparalleled culture of teamwork, positivity, and collaboration

What you bring:

To qualify, you will need at least 2 years of retail banking or related financial industry experience, preferably in sales or customer service and a high school diploma.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following education/certificates:

• Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)
• Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC)
