We are currently seeking a full-time Financial Advisor at our branch in Ponoka, AB.

Reporting to the Assistant Branch Manager, your main goal is to foster long-term relationships with members, build trust, and offer tailored financial solutions to enhance their financial health.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Matching members with suitable products and solutions to improve their financial fitness
  • Achieving and surpassing sales targets and referral objectives
  • Participating in business development initiatives through marketing campaigns
  • Communicating effectively to understand members' needs
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our banking and investment services (e.g., mutual funds, credits, loans, investment planning)
  • Referring members to Wealth Management, Business Banking, and third-party providers
  • Staying informed about local market trends and economic factors
  • Following all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to minimize risks
  • Delivering exceptional member service based on Servus' best practices
  • Contributing positively to our team-oriented and community-focused culture
  • Representing Servus positively within the community

To qualify, candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in retail banking or related financial services, preferably in sales or customer service, along with a high school diploma.

Preferred additional qualifications include:

  • Post-secondary education in Finance or related fields
  • Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC)
  • Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA)
  • Financial Planning I (FP1)
