Qualifications

• Must hold a Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
• Completed the Certificate in Financial Services Advice through the CSI (Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I).
• 2–3 years of proven sales experience in financial services, handling credit and investments.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients to learn about needs and help them achieve goals.
• Provide professional advice and education on complex credit and investment needs for personal and business clients.
• Collaborate with financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking professionals to tailor advice.
• Leverage technology to enhance client experience and drive sales and retention.

• Implement contact and relationship-building strategies and support new client acquisition locally.

• The candidate will be responsible for communicating with clients to learn about their needs and help them achieve their goals.
• The candidate will be responsible for providing professional advice and education with an ability to address complex credit and investment needs concerning both personal and business needs.
• The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with market-leading professionals in financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking to ensure clients receive customized and targeted expert advice.
• The candidate will be responsible for leveraging technology to deliver on client experience and drive sales and retention.
• The candidate will be responsible for proactively taking ownership of resolving and preventing client’s banking problems.
• The candidate will be responsible for implementing contact and relationship building strategies and supporting new client acquisition in the local community.
• The candidate will be responsible for educating clients on the features and benefits RBC products and services offer, and assisting clients with digital banking including mobile, ATM, and online banking.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must hold a valid Mutual Funds accreditation, such as Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
• The candidate must have completed the Certificate in Financial Services Advice through the CSI (i.e. Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I).
• The candidate must have 2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments.
• The candidate must demonstrate the ability to build trust and sustain long-term client relationships.
• The candidate should be comfortable using different devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
• The candidate will be required to have fluency in a second language.
• The candidate must be active in developing strong network within the local community.
