Job summary

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce is seeking a Financial Advisor to build and grow a client portfolio with a relationship-focused approach. You’ll deliver tailored financial advice and support across banking, investments, lending, and estate planning, while expanding your network in the local market and contributing to community engagement.

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related field.
  • CIRO-ID licensing current and in good standing.
  • AMF licensing current and in good standing.
  • CIFC or CSC certification to support AMF licensing.
  • RRC designation current and in good standing.
  • CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals courses can be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management and exceptional service.
  • Provide tailored financial advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending and estate planning.
  • Grow the client base through local market knowledge, networking, and business development.

You’re flexible to work our banking centre hours which may include evenings and weekends. You have current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing; Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) licensing, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC). It’s an asset if you’ve completed CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).Values matter to you .
