Additional Information:
This location is open Monday to Saturday. Candidates must have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts including later evenings on Thursday and Friday, and until 3 pm on Saturday.

We are seeking a full-time Financial Advisor Associate for our Namao branch.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Financial Advisor Associate plays an integral role by supporting members with banking needs. Responsibilities include preparing documents for meetings, proactive contact and follow-up with members, handling walk-in discussions, and supporting branch activities such as processing transactions and recommending products and services.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Gathering and documenting information for financial conversations.
  • Reviewing accounts for accuracy and compliance, and identifying recommendations to improve members' financial health.
  • Opening and reviewing new accounts and following up with members.
  • Preparing and submitting loan applications.
  • Supporting efforts to grow memberships and strengthen relationships.
  • Differentiating our products from competitors and advising members on solutions.
  • Processing transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, money orders, credit card advances, foreign and domestic exchange, and cheque cashing.
Requirements
To qualify, candidates need at least 1 year of retail banking or sales experience and a high school diploma.

Preferred qualifications include:
  • Post-secondary education in Finance or related fields
  • IFIC certification
