Job summary

Partake, a leading North American non-alcoholic beer brand, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join a remote-first, entrepreneurial finance team. You will maintain accurate records, support month-end close, and assist with margin analysis while collaborating across departments to drive financial discipline.

The role reports to the Financial Controller and requires 3–5 years of experience, proficiency in QuickBooks Online and MS Office, and a proactive, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree from University or accredited business school.
• 3–5 years experience as a financial accountant.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Experience in QuickBooks Online is a must.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive to get things done.
• Strong verbal and written communication; interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Record all business transactions, process accruals and adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Complete inventory count reconciliations and reporting and support year end counts.
• Prepare month end close and adjusting journal entries as required.
• File monthly government reporting where required.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and prepare financial reports or statements.
• Assist in financial statement and ongoing margin analysis.
• Year End Support (Review Engagement).
• Payroll support.
• Contribute to development of standard accounting procedures to improve efficiency.
• Analyze and recommend improvements to financial standards and processes.

About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, we are seeking a Financial Accountant for an amazing opportunity to play a critical role in the Finance Department.

The Financial Accountants core function is to maintain accurate financial records, prepare accurate monthly working papers, and supervise daily accounting procedures.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Record all business transactions, process accruals and adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Complete inventory count reconciliations and reporting and support year end counts
• Prepare month end close and adjusting journal entries as required.
• File monthly government reporting where required
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and prepare financial reports or statements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree from University or accredited business school
• Minimum 3-5 years experience as a financial accountant
• Proficient in using all Microsoft Office products
• Experience in QuickBooks online a must
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills
• Action-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to figure things out to get stuff done!
• Born problem solver - able to support teams, find solutions and help the organization function at its highest level
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills.
• Love for people and culture - desire to be a culture carrier within an organization to support and connect teams
• High-energy, enthusiastic, self-starter with the desire to support the CEO and broader Partake team
• Understanding and passion of CPG space is preferable
