Job summary

Great-West Lifeco is seeking an experienced finance transformation lead to drive the SAP S/4HANA Finance program. You will guide end-to-end process design, collaborate with AVP and regional stakeholders, and ensure alignment with long-term finance strategy.

You will assess accounting implications, challenge assumptions and work with cross-functional teams to deliver changes across AP, AR, fixed assets, cash management and reporting. Strong IFRS knowledge and change leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and finance background with experience in financial reporting, controllership or finance transformation.
• Solid understanding of IFRS financial reporting, accounting policies and financial controls.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to connect information across multiple process areas and understand broader business impacts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of future-state processes across Finance domains.
• Coordinate with AVP and finance leaders to align requirements and governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to simplify, standardize and automate processes.
• Evaluate SAP S/4HANA leading practices and advise on fit-to-standard options.
• Oversee testing, validation and business readiness activities.
• Champion change management and stakeholder adoption.
