Overview

The RGM Pricing Execution Sr Analyst role is an integral leader on the 1CAN Revenue Management team and is responsible for providing Promotional Guidance & Optimization of existing brands alongside innovations by incorporating consumer & marketplace insights to drive sustainable share & profit growth across both the Frito-Lay and Quaker Canada businesses.

Responsibilities


  • Lead the annual Foods National Promotional Guidance process including the communication of updates to the PepsiCo Customer Team (PCT) and education of the cross-functional partners on the Category Optimization Model Process & RGM tools available.

  • Build Promotion Execution Playbooks by performing banner & product specific post-game analysis using a data driven approach to uncover insights and optimize promotional strategies.

  • Lead pricing execution models for new innovations, using category insights to determine optimal frequency, depth, and timing of promotional calendars to include in launch playbooks.

  • Identify key performance drivers across categories through structured root cause analysis and work with Customer Finance, Customer Development, Sales Strategy, Marketing and RGM teams to develop solutions.

  • Be a subject matter expert in the use of revenue management and financial reporting tools to analyze ongoing performance and evaluate key promotional campaigns.

  • Support Revenue Management Council internal decision-making forums.

  • Support development and refinement of new and existing revenue management process and best practices.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred

  • 3+ years of work experience in CPG Revenue Management, Finance, Insights, Category Planning or Sales Strategy

  • Ability to inspire, engage and enable at various levels of the organization

  • Strong influencing skills and proven ability at impacting agenda at senior level

  • Presenting complex business cases with confidence and credibility in senior forums

  • Ability to work and think independently with limited direction and oversight

  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven collaboration/teamwork experience

  • Deep understanding of financial modelling/evaluation, linking to consumer and shopper data

  • Change management experience at a senior level, including strong cross-functional management skills to drive change in the face of adversity

  • Creating simple solutions and crafting a simple communication story
