THE TEAM

The mission of the Accounting Department is to account for every financial transaction in the general ledger accurately and on time to enable informed decision making.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing, and our Accounting team is expanding accordingly. This is a unique opportunity to join a team responsible for the organization's accurate, compliant, and timely financial accounting. As the Sr. Accountant, you will ensure the quality and accuracy of all accounting records and general ledger reporting in compliance with financial reporting standards. THE ROLE

As the Sr. Accountant/Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing financial transactions accurately and timely
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting policies
  • Governing financial data that supports our financial reporting
  • Supporting analysis of accounting implications of material contracts and agreements, collaborating with business support partners
  • Providing analysis and reporting to business partners and executive management

THE QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates should have:
  • Proven skills, certifications, education, and/or experience in accounting in a comparable role
  • CPA designation
  • A commitment to learn and embody Aritzia's Values and Leadership principles
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A dedication to quality and results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION

The typical salary range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 CAD per year, with final offers based on experience and qualifications.
