THE TEAM

The mission of the Accounting Department is to record every financial transaction accurately and promptly in the general ledger to support informed decision-making.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is expanding, and so is our Accounting team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the organization’s accurate, compliant, and timely financial accounting. As a Sr. Accountant, you will ensure the quality and accuracy of all accounting records and general ledger reporting, adhering to financial reporting standards. THE ROLE

As the Sr. Accountant/Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing financial transactions accurately and timely
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting policies
  • Managing the financial data that supports our financial reporting
  • Supporting analysis of the accounting implications of material contracts and agreements, collaborating with business support teams
  • Providing analysis and reports to business partners and executive management

THE QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates should possess:

  • Proven skills, certifications, education, and/or experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role
  • CPA designation
  • A commitment to learn and embody Aritzia’s Values and Leadership principles

THE COMPENSATION

The typical salary range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 CAD annually. Final compensation will depend on your skills, experience, and knowledge.
