Job Description:

What will you work on?

The Finance SAP Implementation Lead, MD Planning, will be the key point of contact for the Planning workstream in the company’s finance systems transformation project, including the deployment of SAP S/4HANA and Anaplan. This person will ensure that business-critical inputs are incorporated into the system design, working closely with the project team, implementation partners, and colleagues across Melissa Doug and Spin Master organizations.

How will you create impact?

1. Work with key stakeholders across Melissa Doug and Spin Master to facilitate the design and implementation of the end-to-end Planning process, including business planning (budgeting, forecasting, innovation, etc.) and demand/supply planning.
2. Participate in global design workshops and interface with the project team, system integrators, and others to design, develop, test, and deploy the Planning workstream.
3. Assist in designing process flows, including quantity forecasting, internal budgeting, and reporting.
4. Manage change, communications, and partner alignment to support process improvements and system enhancements.
5. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reporting using SAP S/4HANA and Anaplan functionalities.
6. Ensure thorough User Acceptance Testing in collaboration with project and functional teams.
7. Partner with IT to facilitate system integration and data migration.
8. Serve as a change agent for this transformation project.

What are your skills and experience?

• 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a business planning role with knowledge of transaction workflows.
• Understanding of SAP and Anaplan business processes related to forecasting, budgeting, demand/supply planning, and management reporting.
• Experience with systems implementation, project planning, and business integration.
• Experience in organizational change management.
