Job summary

Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) is offering a four-month internship in its Financial Reporting team in downtown Toronto. The role supports corporate accounting, prepares statements for IMCO Pool funds and IMCO Corporate, and assists with the annual report and year-end audit.

You will engage in month-end close activities, budgeting, and compliance data collection with exposure to strategic reporting projects.

Responsibilities

Support preparation of financial statements for IMCO Pool funds and IMCO Corporate.
Assist with annual external audit coordination and responses.
Liaise with custodians and Investment Operations for supporting information.
Prepare annual financial statements for subsidiaries and other entities.
Support regulatory and compliance reporting information.
Collaborate with Tax to provide data for annual filings.
Contribute to month-end close: journal entries, reconciliations, analyses.
Assist accounts payable activities and expense report reviews.
Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives.
Perform additional projects as assigned.
