Job description

Reporting to the Director, Finance Transformation, the Finance Process Excellence Specialist will work with Corporate Finance and across all Irving Group Moncton companies to help drive a culture of process excellence. This will be done by performing process maturity assessments, conducting process improvement projects, training and executing on best practice process techniques and change management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum of 5 years’ related experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt required; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
  • Familiarity using tools such as Procedure Flow, Power BI, Power Automate
Responsibilities
  • Execute & Support Finance process improvement projects across Corporate Finance and the businesses, including:
    • Leading a cross-functional team to understand process requirements
    • Map out the current state, identify and remove waste, and map the future state
    • Document the work instructions and establish KPI's for the new process
  • Execute & Support change management plan for Corporate Finance initiatives to create awareness, desire, knowledge, ability and reinforcement.
  • Support / Review Daily Management of processes to embed a culture of continuous improvement, such as establishing KPI's that are aligned with the strategy, establishing standard agendas, creating visual displays, and engaging the team in ongoing improvement.
  • Lead the implementation and sustainment of Corporate Finance process architecture.
