Job summary

NJM is seeking participants for its 2027 Paid Summer Intern Program in the West Trenton, NJ area. The Business Planning and Analysis intern will assist in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting while engaging in data analysis to identify efficiencies and revenue opportunities.

Interns join seminars, headshots, and team projects to develop professional skills. Starting pay is $21 per hour, with a $21–$22 hourly range depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics or related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly forecasting of financial statements.
• Generate monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for business leaders.
• Create ad hoc reports to support business operations.
• Maintain open lines of communication.
• Support the business units.
• Prepare analysis of industry data and trends.
