The Flipside Church exists to build lifelong community through Christ-centered teaching and intentional environments. The Finance Manager will help ensure financial transparency, accountability, and alignment with our core values, providing leadership with the insights needed for informed decision-making to support our mission.
Transition accounting functions from an outsourced firm to in-house management.
Oversee bookkeeping, payroll processing, and financial compliance, including W-9s, 1099s, and GAAP standards.
Manage contributions, program income, payables, and monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and preschool tuition systems.
Administer QuickBooks Online, process journal entries, and maintain financial records.
Prepare and present monthly financial reports, monitor budget vs. actuals, and support departments in budget management.
Handle sales tax filings, reconcile inventory, and manage credit card and reimbursement processes.
Implement and maintain expense management software, policies, and staff training.
Manage banking and brokerage relationships while overseeing contracts and independent contractors.
Lead the annual budgeting process, conduct financial analysis, and provide cost assessments for major initiatives.
Ensure strong internal controls, policy updates, and compliance while supporting the Finance Committee.
