A local Event Production company in Toronto is seeking a team member to manage financial records and payroll functions. The role includes checking invoices, performing banking reconciliations, and administering HR records. Experience with Xero accounting software is necessary, along with a strong attention to detail. This position is crucial for maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the company's operations.
18 Hours is a professional Event Producer and the local Global Citizenship Education provider for Sussex. We are looking for someone to join our small team to maintain and update all financial records of the company, plus HR & payroll functions, including:
• Check and pay invoices (project & non-project) & update expenditure against project budgets
• Banking
• Xero payment reconciliations, monthly journals
• HR & pension admin and monthly payroll function
• Petty cash payments and posting onto Xero
• Annual budget & cashflows (in accordance with the Director)
• VAT returns
• Raise sales invoices as and when needed
• Financial year-end preparation
