Finance Manager – Summary

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Finance Manager oversees the full accounting cycle, ensures accurate financial reporting, and supports audits, all in line with ASPE and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements
• Oversee month-end close, journal entries, and accruals
• Analyze GL accounts, variances, and gross margins
• Supervise AP/AR coordination and a Financial Accountant
• Manage royalty and non-resident tax payments (NR4 slips)
• Assist with year-end files, audits, and reporting
• Support ERP improvements and process optimization
• Provide financial reports for management

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Bachelor’s in accounting
• Strong knowledge of ASPE, GAAP, and financial processes
• Advanced Excel and accounting software skills
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative
