Job summary

General Mills Canada Corporation seeks a Manager, Finance – Sales based in Mississauga, Ontario. You will be accountable for the financial management, oversight and partnership for a division of Customer Teams, acting as a co-pilot for Sales Directors.

The role requires holistic P&L management, prioritization, and leadership to drive sustainable profitable growth, with a focus on volume/mix, trade investments and IBP/PEAK cycles under the Finance Director, Sales & Market Strategy.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Finance or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance, preferably in CPG.
• Prior experience partnering with Sales Teams or externally facing roles (preferred).
• Agile, organized, and able to prioritize changing workload for self and teams.
• Proven ability to build trusting relationships at all levels and across functions.
• Strong track record of partnering with finance for sales outcomes and influencing senior leaders.
• Ability to synthesize complex matters into simple and attainable solutions.
• Experience in a dynamic commercial facing role with inflationary and market pricing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead Monthly Business Reviews to review the Financial Forecast and key indicators.
• Set priorities for self and team while maintaining agility in execution of S&OP processes.
• Oversee monthly Trade Reviews to ensure forecast accuracy and effective trade investments.
• Collaborate with broader Sales finance and MSRM finance groups to align on priorities and standards.
• Act as financial leader to inspire sales teams in townhalls and align objectives.
• Coach direct reports for performance and development.
