Job summary

Autodesk’s Growth Experience Technology (GET) finance team invites you to help shape investments in software that empowers the COO organization and Go-to-Market functions. You will collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Product, and business leaders to guide capitalization, strengthen forecasts, and improve financial transparency across a broad portfolio.

You will own planning, close activities, and build scalable models and dashboards ensuring accurate cost accounting and audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A, accounting, or finance partnership experience.
• Experience with software capitalization, Internally Developed Software, capitalized labor, depreciation/amortization, project accounting, or related spend.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, month-end close, accruals, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with repeatable reporting capabilities.
• Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills across Finance, Engineering, Product, Procurement, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting, reporting, and amortization modeling for GET’s capitalized software investments.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Finance, Accounting, and Go-to-Market leaders to assess project scope, capitalization eligibility, and priorities.
• Translate complex project data into clear insights, recommendations, and investment considerations for GET leadership.
• Own financial processes and controls supporting software capitalization, including project assessments, cost validation, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Lead month-end and quarter-end activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and depreciation reviews, identifying and resolving risks.
• Develop scalable financial models, dashboards, and reporting to improve transparency and forecast accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, automate reporting, strengthen controls, and scale finance support as GET portfolio evolves.
