Job summary

RBC Insurance is seeking a Manager, Finance in Mississauga to lead financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for the insurance division. You will work with finance partners and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and compliant reporting and to drive process improvements.

In this role you will oversee budgeting cycles, produce accurate financial reports, and provide ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives, acting as a conduit between core finance and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• CPA or CPA in progress, including equivalent credential.
• 3+ years of progressive finance experience including FP&A.
• Exposure to insurance finance in any setting.
• Familiarity with enterprise financial systems and data analytics tools.
• Excellent Excel skills with pivot tables and lookups.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven can-do attitude with ability to prioritize competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for financial planning and budgeting processes; oversee the annual budgeting cycle including financial analysis and business impact assessment
• Produce thorough, accurate, and timely financial reports; analyze and interpret financial information for planning, control, and decision-making purposes
• Support project implementation and provide ad hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives
• Act as a financial conduit between core finance and business stakeholders, translating complex financial concepts into business language
