Job summary

InnPower, a growing Ontario utility, seeks a Finance Manager to lead day-to-day financial operations including records, payroll, and asset management. You will supervise the accounting team, ensure IFRS compliance and oversee budgeting, reporting and audits.

Qualifications

• CPA designation with active status.
• Minimum of three years of management experience in a utility or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end and quarterly financial statements for CFO review.
• Coordinate annual and strategic budgets for CFO review.
• Oversee annual audits and maintain internal controls.
• Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets and insurance.
• Supervise accounting staff and implement finance software upgrades.
• Ensure regulatory reporting to Ontario regulators and internal stakeholders.
