PURPOSE:

This position will be directly responsible for planning, directing and managing all accounting/finance functions as well as supporting the General Manager.As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for overseeing a company’s accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Strategic Leadership:Ensure company activities with the overall strategy, challenge assumptions, and drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Operational Insights:Support strategy and cost analysis, access variances, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Management Collaboration:Present financial results to executive teams, discuss concerns, and propose solutions with practical insights.
• Capital Investment:Write Capital investment business cases, monitor capital project spend and savings.
• Financial Expertise:Manage accounting, financial reporting, and operational data analysis, including financial results, projections, and profitability evaluations.
• Product Costing Oversight:Review and improve costing models to determine standard costs, provide costings for new product innovation.
• Projections & Budgeting:Responsible for annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Employee Development:Lead, develop and mentor staff through effective feedback and career progression planning.

REQUIREMENTS

• An undergraduate degree combined with the completion of a professional accounting qualification (CPA).
• Hands on, roll up the sleeves professional with a demonstrated track record of success in a manufacturing finance environment.
• Is proficient with computer applications including the MS Office suite of products.
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques as well as proficiency with financial statement analysis and projection.
• Cost accounting experience.
• Experience in handling multiple concurrent tasks and meeting strict deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Enjoy working in a dynamic, yet supportive team environment.
