Job description

We are hiring a highly motivated Finance Manager. This highly visible role is responsible for the continued development and maintenance of our financial operations and reporting to support our fast-paced growth.

Responsibilities

• Proactively lead finance efforts, ensuring compliance with Canada’s Securities regulations, including National Instrument requirements, and our Restricted Dealer and Marketplace registration.
• Lead efforts to prepare Crypto.com Canada for CIRO membership, updating finance policies and procedures accordingly.
• Provide regular updates to Senior Management on the compliance program.
• Ensure policies and procedures meet regulatory requirements and are properly executed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliance.
• Prepare reports for Management and the Board of Directors.
• Handle quarterly and annual regulatory reporting.
• Assist with tax returns, financial audits, and supporting schedules.
• Automate processes to improve efficiency.
• Support global reporting and work with Crypto.com entities as needed.
• Oversee cash flows, customer cash accounts, and related transactions.
• Review reconciliations, bank statements, and NetSuite reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience relevant to Crypto Trading Platforms and National Instruments.
• Experience with CIRO requirements and best practices.
• Resident in Canada.
• Knowledge of finance, regulation, and governance challenges related to digital assets and securities.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and procedural accuracy.
• Comfortable with change, ambiguity, and stakeholder management.
• Leadership and communication skills to drive results.
• Highly organized and process-oriented.
