ChainPatrol Inc. is hiring its first dedicated finance hire to bring books, payroll, collections, and spend under one roof. You’ll close months, manage AR, coordinate payroll across three countries, and track spend across vendors and subscriptions. You’ll also build dashboards and use AI to surface insights for the founders.
You’ll work directly with the CEO and COO in a small, fast-growing startup. Expect hands-on ownership and opportunities to shape the finance stack as the company scales.
ChainPatrol is a venture-backed brand protection platform. Our technology detects and removes the scammers, fake accounts, and phishing sites impersonating the world’s biggest brands, at scale and around the clock.
AI has made brand impersonation faster, cheaper, and more convincing than ever. Deepfakes, cloned sites, and fake support accounts now spin up in minutes. We’re the ones stopping them.
We’re a fast-paced startup and we’re growing quickly. Our founders and leadership team have built and sold multiple companies before. This is the one they want to be known for.
This is our first dedicated finance hire.
Right now the books, payroll, collections, and company spend are split between the founders and a fractional bookkeeper. You’ll bring all of it under one roof and run it properly. Monthly close, accounts receivable, payroll coordination across three countries, and where the money actually goes.
The part that makes this different from a normal accounting job is what we want you to do with the data once it’s clean. We want someone who builds dashboards, runs their own queries, and comes to the founders with “here’s what I noticed” rather than waiting to be asked. AI tools make that possible for one person in a way it wasn’t two years ago, and we want someone who’s excited about that rather than nervous about it.
You’ll work directly with the CEO and COO. This is a small company, so you’ll be reconciling accounts in the same week you’re building a report someone takes into an investor conversation.
You pull your own data and answer your own questions instead of waiting on someone else. You build reporting that refreshes itself rather than rebuilding the same spreadsheet every month. You automate the parts of close that shouldn’t take three hours.
You use LLMs to draft, check, and move faster through work you’d otherwise do by hand.
You don’t need to be technical. You need to be curious, willing to figure things out on your own, and already using these tools in some form.
