Job Title: Finance Manager
Location:Surrey, BC
Salary: $70K–$90K (depending on experience)

About The Role

A respectednot-for-profit organizationis looking for a hands-onFinance Manager professional to ensure financial health and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, solutions orientated and ensure strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, donor stewardship and management experience. The successful candidate should be a CPA designation with 5 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, preferably in a nonprofit setting. Strong knowledge of GAAP, CRA charity requirements, and nonprofit audit processes. High level of proficiency financial software andCRM systems (e.g., Raiser's Edge NXT).

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making an immediate impact and has strong experience with not-for-profit finance and day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting and operational functions
  • Prepare financial reports and support month-end processes
  • Review and manage invoices, expenses, and payments
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies
  • Work closely with leadership on strategic and financial planning initiatives
  • Manage and support junior staff

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years of finance/accounting experience
  • CPA designation required
  • Experience in thenot-for-profit sector is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, CRA charity requirements
