A leading company in the finance sector is looking for a Finance Manager who will oversee the accounting operations and ensure financial accuracy. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive financial reports, managing audits, and implementing strong financial controls. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA designation, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. We are seeking a highly skilled and diligent Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining strong financial controls.

What you'll do:Maintain and supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and ASPE.
Lead the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Coordinate and support external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Track repair job costs, parts inventory, and labour expenses to ensure profitability and identify savings opportunities
Prepare and file HST and other government remittances
Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
Work with estimators and service advisors to ensure accurate billing and cost tracking
Treasury and cashflow management
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree is an asset
CPA designation (or equivalent) required.
Demonstrated ability (5+ years) in accounting and/or finance
Solid understanding of IFRS with practical experience applying these standards
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is critical
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
