Job summary

Our client, a reputable real estate/development company, seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead accounting and financial reporting. The role is based in Cambridge, Ontario, with 100% in-office work and a CPA designation preferred.

You will develop reports, manage a finance team, forecast cash flow, and build KPI dashboards while partnering with senior management to drive strategic decisions. Benefits include competitive salary and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting; experience working in public accounting preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver accurate reports to various stakeholders, and translate the numbers into actionable business insights
• Analyze business reports to support management decision-making
• Manage a team of accounting staff, allocate and oversee their tasks and provide exceptional mentorship and leadership
• Monitor cash flow and prepare/analyze cash flow statements and reports
• Develop and enhance KPI dashboards
• Collaborate with other managers, with senior management, and with various other departments
• Evaluate systems, software, and workflow, and implement process improvements
• Report directly to the CFO and provide financial insights to support business decisions

Our client, a very reputable real estate/development company, is actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in accounting and finance, ideally coming from public accounting.

The successful candidate will be a CPA with experience with financial modeling and reporting, cashflow forecasting, and people leadership.

Work Arrangement: 100% in-office in Cambridge, Ontario.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver accurate reports to various stakeholders, and translate the numbers into actionable business insights

• High level of organization and detail orientation
• Strong communication skills
