Job summary

Impact Recruitment is partnering with a Vancouver-based real estate development company to hire a Director of Finance. Reporting to the Owner, this role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management of financial operations across the organization.

You will oversee planning, reporting, and controls, while collaborating with Owners, Principals, and executives to guide strategic decisions and drive project profitability.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including senior-level leadership.
• Real estate experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee finance and accounting operations across the company and affiliates.
• Maintain financial reporting, controls, policies, and processes.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, payables, receivables, and project close-outs.
• Support feasibility, proformas, budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Partner with development teams on project financial matters, closings, and changes.
• Lead financing activities for acquisitions, development, and construction projects.
• Prepare financial models, projections, and lender materials.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
