Base pay range

CA$75.00/hr - CA$75.00/hr

Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join their team for a 3-month + contract role located in Toronto.

This Finance Director role is critical to overseeing financial operations and ensuring the implementation of robust finance controls and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and expertise in accounting, with a focus on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Utilize ERP systems to drive process improvements and establish effective finance controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as operations and account management, maintaining strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Requirements

• CPA Designation
• Proven Director-level experience in accounting, including FP&A
• MC Dynamic 365 and POWER BI experience
• Experience working with Government reports and claims
• Strong proficiency with financial software preferably Sage (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• 3 days a week in the office
