Responsibilities

  • Provide project support as needed.

Bring your skills to work every day as you support your new team, assist to process payroll data, review invoices, financial surveys, software clean-up, and provide overall support for the Finance Shared Service group with Canfor Pulp Limited which includes the Northwood Pulp Mill, the Prince George Paper Mill, and the Intercontinental Pulp Mill.

A day in the life of the Finance Coordinator includes:

  • Assist with reconciling payroll data and associated journal entries
  • Maintaining and updating payroll and other monthly reports
  • Provide accounting support to the finance group
  • Review accuracy of accounting and other operational reports
  • Courier statement processing and accounting
  • Reviewing invoices and backup
  • Provide support on capital or other projects as needed
  • Assist in monthly and yearly financial surveys
  • Provide coverage for the Finance Shared Service Group
  • System/software support and clean up

For this role, you’ll come equipped with:

  • Completion of secondary school education and 2-3 years of general office and accounting/bookkeeping experience. Post-secondary education with a focus on business fundamentals and accounting knowledge would be considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills and good business sense
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in multiple team environments
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Flexibility adapting to changing environments
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

The salary range for this position is: $60,000.00-$75,000.00
