Job summary

Southern Health-Santé Sud is seeking a Finance Clerk to support the Administration unit at the Altona Community Memorial Health Centre. The role reports to the Director of Health Services and involves performing financial administrative tasks and maintaining accounts in accordance with CUPE guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have Grade 12, an accounting-focused program, 1 year of relevant experience, and strong office software skills.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited business administration program with a focus in accounting.
• Other suitable combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records and perform financial administrative tasks.
• Support accounts payable/receivable and general ledger activities.
• Assist with monthly closings and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate with team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
