Job summary

Maersk in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to partner with regional product, operations and commercial teams to drive forecasting, budgeting and strategic financial insights.

You will influence business decisions, deliver actionable analyses, and support a fast-paced logistics and warehousing operation across Canada, with a hands-on approach to planning and performance management.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Accounting, Financial Analysis, or Business Partnering roles.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, month-end close processes, and financial performance management.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools; Power BI experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to senior leadership.
• Experience within logistics, supply chain, warehousing, transportation, or related operational environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and an interest in leveraging technology to improve productivity and decision-making.

About the role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner and operational leaders to drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and deliver actionable business insights. You will partner with regional product owners, operations, and commercial stakeholders to manage forecasting, budgeting, performance analysis, and financial planning activities. This role offers the opportunity to influence key business decisions, collaborate with senior leaders, and support a fast-paced logistics and warehousing business across Canada while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and data-driven financial management.

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (Onsite, 5 days a week at the office)

Travel Expectations: Less than 10% travel, primarily occasional visits to other business locations as needed.

Salary: CAD $90,000 - $95,000*

*The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
