Department Profile: Finance
The Finance Division reports to the Chief Financial Officer and consists of some 3,000 employees worldwide. Finance protects the Company’s franchise by serving as guardian of the Firm’s books and records, and by contributing to firm wide risk management and risk reduction. This division maintains relationships with the Company’s various industry and government regulators and also serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment community. Finance plays a critical role as advisor to Company’s various businesses and its senior management team.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for providing Senior Management with strategic analyses of the Firm’s global businesses, the Firm’s annual budget, and other related financial information utilized in strategic decision-making. FP&A is also responsible for reporting financial forecasts and related analyses to various stakeholders, including the Firm’s regulators.
Responsibilities:
- Focus of Business Analyst is functions of Integrated Planning which is broken down to four pillars: Resource Planning of Infrastructure Services, Work Attribution (what work we perform between RTB/CTB), Funding (CapEx Proposals/Execution), and Reporting (including Budgeting and Forecasting).
- Communication of Infrastructure Change Initiatives to stakeholder in the front office and back office (Infrastructure services), impact to them and value add proposition gained from the change.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and users to identify requirements using use case, workflow, screen mock-ups, and outcome models and translate to Technology teams to implement.
- Establish communication channels for self-learning and communicating with stakeholders how to execute activities.
- Execution of reporting of Change the Bank Governance and building firmwide capabilities to increase accountability and transparency to Firm Management.
- Establishing and maintain governance processes, policies, and controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree, Accounting, Finance preferred.
- 4+ years experience in business analysis, financial reporting, system integration, business transformation, project management equivalent.
- Background in FP&A, Accounting, Finance, and Transfer Pricing.
- Be able to manage project milestones and risks.
- Experience in business process reengineering and software development life cycle.
- Experience in system analysis and writing business and functional specifications.
- Strong data analysis, data mapping and reconciliation skills.
- Experience in using Tableau, Alteryx, Qlik or other BI solutions.
- Good communications including the ability to compile and present management level presentations.
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving skills.
- Understand the limitations of technology.
- Be able to identify opportunities to solve business problems.
