This entry-level, hybrid role covers accounts payable and receivable, ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, autonomous, and able to handle high-volume transactions.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or administrative support.
  • Internship or co-op experience in finance/accounting is required if no full-time working experience.
  • Experience in agency, media, or talent environment is a strong plus.
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (AP/AR, reconciliations).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team in processing vendor invoices, creator payments, and expense reports with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Verify and reconcile invoices against contracts, SOWs, and internal approvals.
  • Maintain vendor records and support onboarding of new vendors/creators.
  • Generate and issue client invoices aligned to campaign deliverables.
  • Maintain AR aging reports and flag risks or delays.
  • Investigate and resolve irregularities, including billing issues and discrepancies.
  • Track incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Apply payments based on remittance details and minimize unapplied cash.
  • Data entry of financial transactions.
  • Primary point of contact for internal financial inquiries (Slack and finance email).
  • Support Finance on audits, reporting, and compliance.
  • General administrative support and special projects.

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Financial Assistant to support the day-to-day financial operations of a fast-paced, creator-driven agency environment.

This is an entry-level hybrid role across accounts payable and receivable, ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, highly autonomous, and thrives in a high-volume, transactional environment.

You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial tracking, timely payments, and seamless coordination across internal teams, talent managers, and brand partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the team in the processing of vendor invoices, creator payments, and expense reports with accuracy and timeliness
  • Verify and reconcile invoices against contracts, SOWs, and internal approvals
  • Maintain vendor records and support onboarding of new vendors/creators

  • Act as the primary point of contact and liaison for internal financial inquiries (Slack channel and finance email inbox)
  • Support Finance team on audits, reporting, and compliance

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
