His mission is our mission: "Proclaiming the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to all we can by every effective means available to us, and equipping others to do the same."
As the Finance Assistant, you play a key role in supporting the finance team through the effective execution and smooth administration of accounting processes. This position assists with essential daily, monthly, and annual accounting activities related to accounts payable, bank account analysis and reconciliation, general ledger management, and the processing of a variety of financial information received from support and ministry departments. As an integral member of the Finance Team, this individual is expected to perform in a professional manner and deliver high-quality outcomes and will help BGEAC carry out its mission and objectives through participation in daily prayer ministry.
The successful candidate will fulfill a permanent, part-time position (20 hours per week) at the Calgary head office. This position includes benefits of life insurance, medical/dental, and short-term/long-term disability, RRSP contributions after one year of employment, and 3 weeks’ vacation per year to start.
Note: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
