Job Title : Finance and Tax (F&T) Transformation and Continuous Project Manager

Job Duration : Months contract

Location : Montréal, QC HA

Pay Range : $- / hour on T (Depending upon experience)

Job Description :

The Finance and Tax (F&T) Transformation and Continuous Project Manager will manage a portfolio of Finance and Tax process/tool optimization projects under the supervision of the local team leader. They will contribute to the F&T digital community.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Manage Transformation / Continuous Improvement / Digital projects aimed at optimizing and streamlining Finance processes.
  • Lead internal Finance projects, coordinating various Finance teams to achieve organizational goals, including internal requests from the Group and CFO executive committee.
  • Coordinate with IT and internal stakeholders across F&T to ensure timely and quality delivery of the project portfolio.

S)he will :

  • Establish and conduct meetings independently to communicate objectives, expectations, project roles, and status updates; track issues and collaborate to resolve them.
  • Scope projects and develop detailed Implementation Project Plans.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Set measurable project goals and monitor progress.
  • Ensure project quality and consistency through best practices in project management.
  • Manage project dependencies and critical path items.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans covering documentation, testing, tasks, budgets, timelines, and metrics.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Relevant experience, preferably in Financial Services industries within international environments.
  • Knowledge of Project Management processes; PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Experience with digital tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Digital mindset with experience in Continuous Improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex issues clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strong consulting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with geographically dispersed cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • University degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Background in Project Management or Consulting.
  • Interest in new technologies like Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, AI, Machine Learning.
