The Regional Finance & Business Compliance Manager will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including financial and operational reporting, business management, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and standards. The role oversees the UK and Ireland region and manages the day-to-day financial management, planning, and reporting of the UK Sales operating company.

Key Responsibilities include :

1. Financial Oversight : Supervise and manage financial reporting within the region, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to meet Group and statutory requirements.
2. Financial Analysis and Reporting : Prepare and present P&L statements, conduct variance analysis, and provide insights for decision-making.
3. Compliance and Strategic Planning : Ensure adherence to standards and regulations, using financial insights to support business strategies.
4. Team Management : Lead Finance Managers and Assistants across multiple countries, providing support and performance management.
5. Collaboration : Work closely with other Regional Finance & Business Compliance Managers and the Head of Finance to share insights and fulfill reporting needs.
6. Sales Understanding : Collaborate with sales teams to improve forecasts, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
7. Approval Processes : Oversee and approve financial transactions, including capital expenditure, asset write-downs, stock adjustments, and payroll.
8. Ensuring Compliance : Respond to risk assessments and audits, oversee statutory compliance and local reporting.
9. EHS Management : Oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety tasks, ensuring compliance with standards.
10. Facilities and Sustainability : Manage facilities, implement sustainability practices, and monitor environmental goals.
11. Community Engagement : Manage initiatives to foster positive community relationships.
12. Director Signatory : May need to act as a Company Director and sign contracts and documentation.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Strong finance background with experience in reporting and analysis.
