Job summary

Leon’s Furniture is seeking a Reporting & Analysis Manager for its Financial Services division in Edmonton. You will oversee reporting across consumer and commercial credit, insurance products, and warranty-related analytics, collaborating with department heads for strategic planning and post-mortem analyses.

The role reports to the Director of Payment Solutions with a dotted line to the VP of Financial Services.

Qualifications

• Education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, reporting, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation and distribution of reports for consumer and commercial credit, including credit sales, new credit card applications, insurance sales, credit risk, commercial receivable and bad debts.
• Manage journal entries and account reconciliations for various financial services areas.
• Run queries and analyze AR transaction data from the database.
• Utilize intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and MS Query to analyze and present data.
• Conduct warranty claims analysis and forecast outcomes for new programs.
