About the Role :

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to ensure the accurate and complete recording, reconciliation, and processing of carrier revenue transactions. This hybrid role—three days per week in-office—is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building scalable processes, and contributing to the financial integrity of a fast-paced organization.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Reconcile subscriber and billing data between Powerfleet systems and external channel partners to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Design and implement automated, scalable reconciliation processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Maintain and reconcile internal monthly subscriber and revenue reports
  • Identify and flag discrepancies or billing opportunities through data analysis
  • Follow and support escalation procedures with internal stakeholders and external partners, including senior leadership
  • Calculate and post accounting entries including accruals, deferred COGS, and revenue-related journal entries
  • Post and verify sales orders in the accounting system
  • Support ad hoc reconciliation projects and Excel-based financial analysis

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance; experience in technology, software, or telecommunications industries is an asset
  • Strong reconciliation experience with a focus on identifying data mismatches and root causes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP / accounting systems is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Process improvement mindset and critical thinking skills
