Job summary

Loewen Windows and Doors invites you to join our hands-on production team in Manitoba. You will contribute to the fabrication of premium windows and doors, operate cranes and various tools, and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives as part of a collaborative team.

We foster safety, quality, and continuous learning, offering a four-day work week, day or evening shifts with a 12.5% premium for evenings, comprehensive training, and opportunities for career advancement in a inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or carpentry is an asset.
• Willingness to learn how to build high-quality products with a strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using hand, power, and pneumatic tools, such as chop saws, nailers, drills, grinders, table saws, cranes, and tilt tables.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement skills.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to remain active throughout the shift, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 to 50 lbs. Occasionally may need to lift 100+ lbs with assistance.
